Sandblasting Services

Sandblasting is often used as an alternate to finish grinding, jitterbug, or powder coat. Your parts can be sandblasted with your choice of our three difference size media. These small pellets blast the surface of your parts to leave a unique finish depending on the bead size. The final “blast” can also then be sent to iridite to seal the finish. Sandblasting is sometimes recommended on metals to give the part  an unfinished raw look.

Sandblasting strips a surface of paint, rust, dirt, grease or any other foreign material using a high pressure “blast” of sand or glass beads. Sandblasting can also be used in our Metal Rotation Mold Process. In addition to preparing for coating operations, sandblasting can be used to rejuvenate a surface, add a matte finish or create a weathered look.
